Aaron Timothy Mitchell is the tritagonist in The Mitchells vs. the Machines . He is the son of Rick and Linda Mitchell, and the younger brother of Katie Mitchell. He is voiced by Michael Rianda.
Appearance[]
Aaron is a young boy with fair skin, shaggy, strawberry blonde hair, brown eyes, and freckles. He wears a blue, galaxy-patterned t-shirt with two green dinosaurs behind mountains and a waxing moon. He also wears grey sweatpants and blue and yellow strap sneakers with green straps.
Personality[]
Aaron is not considered a "normal son." His older sister describes him as a "smart, charming, dinosaur-loving nerd" and that suits him perfectly. He is obsessed with dinosaurs and has an overly specialized understanding of them. He has a very close relationship with his sister Katie, and he becomes her mouthpiece for reason when it comes to strengthening her relationship with her father.
Aaron is smart kid who is obsessed with dinosaurs and would want talk to anybody about them. He sometimes makes a short scene of running away when embarrassed, especially around Abbey Posey. He usually hugs Monchi the dog or family members when he is frightened, and bites things around him when he is stressed. He doesn't like being alone, asking Katie what would happen if a dinosaur "left the pack". He usually is very happy with his family and laughs a lot. He seems to favorite his mom.
Age[]
Aaron is 10 years old, as he is a new student in the 5th grade. In a few frames of the movie there's a report card of Aaron from his 4th grade class, and keeping in mind that the report card is completed and the events of the movie take place in September.
His birthday is on January 5th, as that was the release date of his official Letterboxd list [1].
Relationship[]
- Katie Mitchell - There's no doubt that Katie and Aaron love each other deeply and are very close. She's older than her, but she's never had a fight with her. They have a playful handshake, they thought up together called the "Raptor Bash." Near the beginning of the film, Aaron tells Katie that she is afraid to be alone after she goes to college. Katie immediately told him that he would be fine and would meet another "attractive dinosaur-loving nerd (or female geek)." When Katie found out about her family's road trip, it turned out that Aaron had no problem with this because he wanted to spend her last trip with her older sister. Whenever Katie is feeling down, Aaron will be her voice of reason and help strengthen her relationship with her father, Rick Mitchell. Katie realizes Aaron is in love with her neighbor Abbie Posey. She was very happy to understand this and she told him not to hide his feelings.
- Linda Mitchell - Linda, like Katie, is like a parent to Aaron. When Aaron is captured by robots, Linda resists them with all her might to retrieve Aaron.
- Rick Mitchell - Aaron's relationship with his father isn't as complicated as Rick's and Katie's, but at first, it quickly becomes apparent that he's not the most favorite parent (especially if his father has to eat his dog). when you say you can't), Monchi, for food). Rick doesn't see Aaron as a normal rational kid, but the two still love each other.
- Monchi - Aaron is the most playful member of the family and is best friends with dogs.
- Abby Posey - Aaron's girlfriend. She finds Abby always nice to him and has the same interests, but when Aaron tries to talk to her she backs down in a rather comical way. They are last seen near the end of the film spending time together and developing an intimate relationship.

- Aaron owns a shirt of himself as a dinosaur called the Aaronosaurus. The Aaronosaurus' "scientific" name is Likesium fruitsnacksium.
- Aaron goes nuts on his birthday, especially when he eats Sees Molasses Chips, a type of chocolate.
- Aaron is the only member of the Mitchell family not to wear glasses.
- It is highly rumored that Aaron may be autistic. Several character traits show this, such as his special interest in dinosaurs, cuddling his dog when afraid, and biting things like his shirt.
